FIMI - famous for producing quadcopter rivals to DJI drones has entered the fixed wing market with the new FIMI Manta VTOL FPV plane. 

The MANTA a compact 700mm wingspan FPV ready model aeroplane capable of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL). FIMI has designed the MANTA to have a biometric or natural design similar to the manta ray. The design includes quick detachable wings and an ultra aerodynamic, tailless design. The MANTA includes 3 tilting motors enable it to take off vertically on the spot and travel forwards at some speed.

Flight times are reported to be a very impressive 85 minutes without FPV gear or 60 minutes with.

The MANTA  supports different types of FPV gear including the DJI Air Unit, Caddx Vista Air Unit and DJI O3 Air Unit.
